Chef John Howie is set to open his sixth Seattle-area restaurant in 2014, and this one will be located in Bothell. Both the name of the new restaurant, and the precise location, are being kept a secret for now. What we do know, though, is that it well be pub-themed. Expect everything to be made and brewed in-house, including the bread, pretzels, sausages, and even beer, thanks to an attached brewery.
“It will be casual like a pub and we will make everything in-house,” Howie said. “We’ll build a complete charcuterie to make our own pepperoni and salami and we will bake all our own breads.”
Many of the ingredients that will be used in the food and spirits for the new restaurant will be grown in a nearby Bothell garden.
Can’t wait until 2014 to try some of John Howie’s food? Head on over to one of his other restaurants: John Howie Steak in Bellevue, Seastar Restaurant and Raw Bar in Seattle and Bellevue, Sport Restaurant & Bar in Seattle, and Adriatic Grill in Tacoma.
If you have any guesses as to where the new restaurant will be, leave them in the comments!
